Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026
This site uses no cookies at all — no analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind. That's a deliberate choice, not an oversight, and this page explains exactly what that means in practice.

What this site does

upodpiscikov-web.github.io/harden-and-ship is a static page: HTML and CSS, nothing else runs in your browser. It sets no cookies, uses no browser local storage, and loads no third-party scripts. Even the typeface is served from this same domain instead of Google's font servers — Google Fonts' default setup sends visitors' IP addresses to Google every time the page loads, which several EU courts have found to run afoul of GDPR without consent. Self-hosting avoids that transfer entirely, so there's nothing to ask consent for.

What happens if you click through

The "Book a $500 Audit" button takes you to Cal.com, a separate website with its own cookies and its own privacy policy — nothing about that is under this site's control. The same applies to the GitHub links (governed by GitHub's privacy statement) and to Payoneer, Wise, or PayPal once you reach their payment pages.

If this ever changes

If I ever add analytics or any other tracking to this site, I'll switch to a privacy-respecting, cookie-free option where possible, and if a cookie-based tool is ever unavoidable, I'll add a proper consent banner before it loads — not after. This page and its date will be updated at the same time as that change ships, so it always reflects what's actually running.
